Six rounds are over in the tournament F – the RSSU School Champions’ Cup. We should remind you that the competitions are held in four age groups (for boys and girls) and constitute the qualification to the 2016 World School Chess Championship (Sousse, Tunisia, April 30 – May 8, 2016).
In the group of U9 Boys Gleb Pidluzhny (Klaipeda, Lithuania) has suffered no losses so far. Egor Yaurov (Voronezh), Denis Grunin (Korolev) and Vladislav Dudarev (Novosibirsk) are half a step behind the leader.
Each of Ayaulym Kaldarova (Shymkent, Kazakhstan), Diana Satpaeva (Astana, Kazakhstan), Alexandra Shvedova (Moscow) and Daria Zaytseva (Dolgoprudny) scored 5 points in the same age group of the girls’ tournament. Samra Gasymova (Fizuli, Azerbaijan) and Zarina Khegay (Togliatti) with half a point less are behind the leading group.
In the U11 Boys’ tournament Vladimir Tretyakov (Izhevsk), Alexander Kataev (Apatity), Miron Makhlin and Bulat Gabitov (Kazan) scored 5,5 points. Six more participants with 5 points are following this group.
Margarita Ershova (Naberezhny Chelny) scored 5,5 points in the group of U11 Girls. Daria Bondareva (Moscow) and Elena Mikhaylina (Tula) have 5 points.
In the U13 Boys’ tournament Damir Ismagilov (St. Petersburg) and Melis Tadevosyan (Moscow) with 5,5 points are sharing the leadership. Five participants are half a step behind the leaders.
Alexandra Afanasyeva and Natalia Vyrtosu (both from Moscow) are leading in the U13 Girls’ tournament. Seven participants scored half a point less and follow the leaders.
Vasily Burkhanov (Mosow), Dmitry Kirillov (Ivanovo) and Daniel Gasparyan (Sukhumi) scored 5 points in the U15 Boys’ tournament. Four players with 4,5 points are behind.
The sole leader appeared in the senior girls’ group – Yulia Kondakova (Perm) with 5,5 points. Marina Fonyak (Orenburg) with 5 points is on the second place at the moment.
The participants of the competitions still have to play three more rounds. The Ceremony Closing will take place on Saturday, Feb 6.
